The Blues are cruising, on the back of a great centuty from Simon Katich.

He is 131 from 123 balls. Top knock. Jaques just went, for 31 from 30.

3/239, needing just 6 to win.

Good effort by Hodgey. I'm tired of seeing the Bushrangers bat poorly. When ae we gonna produce some batsmen
Do I look like the tech?

Man, what's Katich doin' here and not in India? He was seeing it like a football today. And did everybody like Darren Berry's "back-stop" helmet? Would be even better if he could see the ball though, it generally helps in a stumping chance.

Michael Slater: 2 runs from 11 balls. His defensive blocks were the most outstanding of the match. Go the run machine!

Slater came out when 6 runs were needed for victory what did you want him to do? He was trying to not get out which was sensible, had he gone out tried to hit a 6 straight off and made a duck then we would have made fun of that too unbelievable.

NS, i know, i know.... only shite stirring ya! You didn't think you were gonna get away with bagging my pie-throwers without a comeback did ya?As the commentators said, he was on a hiding to nothing when he came in after Jaques. But why is he down the order and not opening? Is that his decision?

LOL ok cool! :) Good question about him batting so far down the order. I only know that last year it was said that he wanted to bat down the order to take some pressure off himself but if that's true or not I don't know. Michael Slater at number five and Mark Waugh at number six is just a bit odd for me I hope this is not a permanent thing.
