Moin Khan and Razzaq took their team past the S.A. total with 32 runs for the 7th. wicket before Kallis claimed Khan for 18.

Pakistan is 15 ahead.

One hates to think what The Proteas would do without Kirsten and Pollock. Two absolute champions.

Kirsten is putting S.A. into a strong position. A 54 run partnership with Kallis sees their lead approaching 200. Kirsten is 87 n.o. and Kallis, 28 n.o.

After a 90 run partnership, Razzaq struck, claiming Kirsten for 118 and Boucher (0) next ball. He followed up, 5 overs later with Kallis, for 43. He has 3/70.

Pollock and Peterson added 33 before Peterson (17) fell to Ahmed (2/66). S.A. is now 8/371, a lead of 301. Pollock is 30 n.o.

Smith declared on that score to give his bowlers 10 overs at the Pakistanis before stumps.

Interestingly poised, this match. Pakistan needs 302 to win from 100 overs.

Painfully slow start this morning from Pakistan but Pollock is one of the hardest bowlers to score from.

The first 11 overs yielded 10 runs. 1/18 in the 20th. over when Kallis trapped Farhat, l.b.w. for 8 from 62 balls.

They are now 1/34 in the 25th.
