Fremantle Shockers
Talk about seriously under performing.
Don't forget this squad finished the season on top of the ladder in 2015.
They made it to the Preliminary Final where the Hawks beat them in Perth and the chance of seeing a Western Derby Grand Final was squashed.
Now after 6 rounds of footy in 2016, they are 0-6. Wholly macaroli.
When will their first win come? And where will they finish the season?

They really should beat Richmond as they seem to be in the same boat as Fremantle and should be 0-6 themselves as their win against Carlton was more the Blues losing it and not Richmond actually being good enough to actually win.
They will also probably beat the Bombers, but I think they're going to be close to the bottom so either 17-18 for them. Who'd have thought that Brad Johnson's pre-season prediction was going to come true about the Dockers missing the finals.

Without Fyfe, and it being in Melbourne, who knows, maybe Richmond will fancy themselves?
You'd think there'll be a bit of a clean out at Dockerland at seasons end. They'll be looking to replace Sandi and Pavlich. It looks at though there window is shut with this group, but if they replaced them with decent KPP's and keep Fyfe and co healthy, could they stretch their window next year?

Can't see the Tiggers doing any damage minus Rance.Presti35 wrote:Without Fyfe, and it being in Melbourne, who knows, maybe Richmond will fancy themselves?

Freo would want to snaffle McCarthy from GWS with a year to run on his contract, but why the hell would he want to leave a team playing like that, to go to Freo who have become a rabble?! Same applies to Hogan I guess...

Some thoughts on some available Freo players:
Lachie Neale: Has put contract talks on hold. My guy feeling is that he wants to leave. Getting plenty of interest from just about every other club. As we sit, he is ranked 1st in possessions and 5th in clearances. Is South Australian and the Crows have some cash to splash after Danger leaving and possibly Thompson retiring. Has just turned 22. Would fit in nicely at Collingwood. But can a trade be achieved?
Chris Mayne: Is an unrestricted free agent. Will get some interest, but his form has not been on par. Already playing in his home state, I don't think he would fix any problems on our list, but if he came across without us losing a pick or player, then I guess we could use his leadership. But he is almost 28.
Zac Clarke: A Victorian who also remains uncontracted beyond 2016. I am of the opinion that he should be a target if we decide to trade Witts. If only for the backup ruck factor. (Bellchambers also falls into this category). He has just turned 26, but will probably be looking to become a #1 ruck somewhere. But is he good enough? Fremantle could decide not to match any offer.
Michael Barlow: This one is interesting. Another out of contract player, Barlow is ranked 4th in the league for tackles. He is from Melbourne, but he is going to be 29 in December.
From the above players, it is very possible that at least one will not be in the purple jumper next season.
Without a first round pick, we could almost write off any hope of getting Neale. (Unless we trade next years of course lol).

Boy oh boy wowee!
0-9.
4 out of 4 Nicksters vote wrongly.
Most would have expected Freo to beat Richmond a few weeks back, but it seems that Freos luck just keeps getting worse, and Richmond have lifted a little.
Next 5:
Saints at Etihad.
Bombers at Domain.
Lions at The Gabba.
Power at Domain.
Magpies at The MCG.
BYE.
They play 15th, 16th and 17th in the next three weeks. Surly they'll get a win before we play them in round 14.
