what's yr query HAL? My list was based on the players I've enjoyed watching the most. Have been watching top level cricket for @30 yrs so split it into players whose careers have been generally 90's to today (last 10 yrs) and those of the 70's-80s. Obviously many on this board have been following the game for shorter period therefore my spilt in periods.
he's an animal, what can u expect!!!

Ladies, Gents, others,
Magfan, was not naming a team.
HAL, thought I had split them. OK, the bowlers list starting with Lillee and batsmen starting with Richards is the before 90's period. The others like LEE & Tendulkar are the current day.
Mag, u want my overall no 1's. Bowler Lillee, Batsman Gower.
Will crawl back to my burrow after incurring yr anger.

yes Donny we are fat funny creatures aren't we. Do accept yr criticism re multiple names to this question, was led astray by others naming multiple names.
