Essendon Football Club chairman Paul Little resigned, replaced by former Federal MP Lindsay Tanner.
The Bombers board met shortly after the annual general meeting on Monday night and announced former Federal finance minister Lindsay Tanner would take up the job.

No surprises here as Little always intended to step down after the investigation and findings from CAS were complete but obviously he's fast-tracked this process.
Tanner was already firm favourite to take over especially after his address to the Essendon members at their members forum.
