From Greg J:

I'll post mine on Friday. And we will see who is right next Monday.

and again:

What sort of Sports Fans are you guys. It's my turn to do the Punters Club at work and I was looking for some guidance.

Should I go a big quaddie or plonk it on Sunday Joy, or Makbe Diva? What about quinellaing those two.

Decisions, decisions.

If it's wet Pentastic will win even with the big wieght. Excellerator should win the Epsom in Sydney. Also I think Bomber Bill might be at overs in the sprint and looks a good each way chance

Mmmm. Interesting market.

Mummify on top but easy at $4.40
Pentastic is the firmer. Into $7.10
Makybe Diva out to $5.30
Sunday Joy easing to $5.50

Pentastic now $6.50. Looks the value bet. Each way.

Strasbourg third. $4.50

I had a nibble at Clangalang (just love the name  ) and boxed it with the fave in the exacta.

Clangalang paid $11.20 and $3.80 here. Exacta paid $57.30. I got half.

I cleaned up on Clangalang, and Niello...

Ended up way in front, but wentout in the first leg of the Quaddie in Melbourne..

Liked Clangalang for a long time...great run too.

I am good friends with the JR Hawkes camp, so stay tuned for more...and nah, i wasn't on Studebaker...( i didn't take their advise )

But Niello is a lil brother of Lohnro...so keep an eye out for him in the Future...also their one that won the last...its a good filly...

I was on Clangalang too. Had it with JLC's Grand Armee and cleaned up in the quinella (paid $26). It was one of the few winners I had for the day. Turnbull was a wipeout.

But onto Guineas Day.

Niello would want to improve quite a bit to be considered a half decent horse. As they said on racing retro that would have to be one of the worst group 1 races.

The turnball stakes race was a joke. Baster outsmarted the other jockeys who were content to do nothing.
Bomber Bill still winning sprint races shows that times are tough. I still havnt given up on Sunday Joy as ive been following that horse for ages.

Hopefully this weeks races are much better. I backed Distinctly Secret along with Fields of Omagh last year and am very confident with Distinctly Secret this year as there is no Northerly that he has to beat. This weeks race should give a pretty good idea of its chances for the Caufield Cup.

Guineas should be a good race with Exceed and Excel drawing perfectly so there can be no excuses when it loses. Ambulance should run very well although the Derby will suit it more.

No point backing my fav jockey in Corey Brown as everyone will be backing him after his recent good form in Sydney :(

They're both favourites.

I might back against Ascana and go for Eagle Rhythm.
