Who is your favourite batter and bowler ?
Just curious to see who everyones all time favourite batter and bowler is.
I have always loved The West Indies so i would have to say Batter-Viv Richards. Not only did have have the finesse but he could tonk a ball out of the M.C.G.
Just a special mention to Ian Botham as i loved to watch him bat as well.
As a bowler it is a toss up between Malcolm Marshall and Big Bird.I will go with Joel "Big Bird" Garner. This man was super quick and could bowl an exceptional yorker as well as a bouncer that would take your head off.
These two guys are the best to have ever graced the fields of cricket.

Dennis Lillee was just magnificent. First as a tearaway and even better after his back mended. Would have passed 450 wickets but for his WSC days.
Richard Hadlee had a similar career although not so much early on. Like Lillee, he cut his run down and became deadly.
Warney, at his best, is devastating. Incredible control.
Dean Jones was my favourite batsman, especially in the ODIs. Of the modern day players, Gilly and Punter are great to watch.

I have to admit that i am not as good as Lillee or Garner though.

I just love watching Steve Waugh bat, especially when he is going for quick runs. Also Gilly and Punter.
Ian Botham would be the one from another country that I loved to watch bat, even though he destroyed Australia.
Of the bowlers I love watching Brett Lee and Shoaib Akhtar.
From the past Thommo, Lillee and Big Bird Joel Garner.
