First rule of football if you want to watch - don't take a hyper active kid!
Lasted to 3/4 time and was surprised we won after a ordinary 3rd quarter.
Not a great deal to report really.
Cox had a bad day needs a summer in the gym I think.
Caff was good but he is very very slow and I don't know whether
his lack of pace will be a major factor in being recalled.
BenKen can get the ball and tackle great but his kicking ..the horror..
the horror! He could be a great footballer.
Noticed he was tagged heavily in the 3rd when we started going bad.
Witts did well, in particular, in the first.
Seemed to get a few injuries, so might be a bit sore this week.
Oxley did well, good mark and great kick. Still too light and not
strong in the contest.
Seedsman was Seedsman. Missed an easy tackle
that resulted in a goal.
Overall there was nothing of great interest. Thought it was a good crowd
given the weather.
we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest.

Thanks for that Mr T. Same goes for the Bat. Great to see our VFL side make the finals.

is, who will we play and which ground will it be held at?
PS
I wanted to watch Close ... so what happened????
Pretty much confirmed that we will play one of Werribee/Footscray/Casey (in that order of probability) at North Port Oval. Details after the last game tomorrow.
Close missed with either a groin complaint or a corked thigh (conflicting information on that front). We'll need him next week, because Karnezis aside, our forward line looked hopeless today...
