Our team looks strong now that we have a real, AFL listed key back into the team. Also having Taylor back we have most of our best VFL players available except for Still. I am hoping we can add two more AFL listed players next week. I'd go with Pendlebury, Taylor, Hellier, Williams, Close and Borthwick and leave out Wallin.

i'd expect hellier, pendlebury and taylor to be named plus a forward so ash close if they want a tall otherwise jake williams or nick gray. anyone who misses will be stiff.MagpieBat wrote:Team's out:

Any insight into Gault's continuing absence, JW? I know he's had that groin/hip trouble, but is he struggling or was it just a matter of not quite ready yet, be good to go next week?John Wren wrote:i'd expect hellier, pendlebury and taylor to be named plus a forward so ash close if they want a tall otherwise jake williams or nick gray. anyone who misses will be stiff.MagpieBat wrote:Team's out:

Over to the VFL boys now to make it two from two.
No White of course, but Ash Close will provide a more reliable forward target anyway.
Speaking of which, Port have also got a key forward who answers to the nickname of "Moose", who will be chasing the Frosty Miller Medal tomorrow. What's the plural for Moose? Meese? But he plays for Williamstown...
Hopefully the seniors' win encourages a few more to come along.

We are actually, CC.Collingwood Crackerjack wrote:So not even a mathematical chance of sneaking into the 4 MB? Looks like we are a game short....
As I outlined in the OP, if we win and Essendon lose or draw and Werribee and Footscray draw with each other tomorrow, we'll sneak into 4th spot and play Box Hill 1st week in a qualifying final.
But yes, that capitulation against North Ballarat has proved costly...
