Hawks Beaten by Port
Quiet frankly I have no idea who will win the Flag this year after watching how badly Hawthorn played tonight against Port. I still think Freo have serious weaknesses. Fyfe is prone to injury. Their forward line is ageing and vulnerable.
I feel West Coast if they can play the MCG right on the day have to be favourites this year.

I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for.

Lovely, lovely, the piss and poop have some real weaknesses, they are not unbeatable, hell, we nearly beat em with a bunch of kids. My tip is now west coast for the flag.

Hawks are very likely doing what most premiership contenders typically do 8 weeks before the grand final. they are likely in very heavy training to reload the fitness base ahead of the finals.
This results in those teams failing to be at their best during the weeks that they are doing this. I would place zero value in this result as an indicator of what hawthorn are capable of.
I think you saw them at their best about 4 weeks ago when they crushed every contender they played at the time by 10 goals.
I agree the Eagles look really good, but I wouldn't bet against a Hawthorn three-peat.

Despite the loss I still think Hawthorn will make the Grand Final despite the likelihood that they may have to play in Perth in the first week if they finish 3rd or 4th on the ladder.
Their best football demolishes everyone else! Don't be surprised to see them peaking in September again but I hope they're great run at the top finally ends sooner rather than later though.

Most. Disgusting and dangerous thing on a footy field in a long time. Should be 6, but knowing the AFL, they will ask Wingard to pay for a new post pillow.
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!
