Hookers, alcohol and money would be preferable.

Send the guns and lawyers much later,.
So, pretty much a typical night out for you...?
Well it would be if someone would send Money, :x

How did Cox go today in the cold and wet conditions?

Also how did our American ruck prospect go in the cold and wet conditions?

Oh, funny. :P

Thought Cox was pretty good. Played primarily ruck but played a fair amount of minutes deep forward. Steamed out to take a couple of marks and kicked a goal. Held up pretty well against Mark Jamar and Jake Spencer in the rucking stakes. Another tick in his development.

Thanks for the commentary MB! Fantastic as usual and much appreciated considering this game clashed with the AFL game today.

Is Ben Reid ready to come back or is that getting ahead of ourselves? It's time to bring in Marsh NOW!

No worries, Jezza.

On Reid, it depends on how you look at it. The club will probably want to play him a couple more weeks at this level to ensure he gets enough of a block of work into him. My view however, is that given we have two bottom 4 opponents coming up over the next fortnight in the seniors, we should just bring him in anyway and get him up to speed there. Carlton and Melbourne are barely above VFL standard at present anyway. He comes in, he'll either take the best defender away from Moore, or Moore gets the best defender and gives Reid the 2nd defender, and so on.

The times are just too desperate for more pussyfooting around with him. If we leave him in the VFL for much longer, we're not leaving him much room for error to come in and get up to speed. Normally I'd err on the side of caution, but with our finals chances fading, I think it's time to just roll the dice. 6 day break could hurt though...

And yes, Marsh should play. Again, a couple of easier kills coming up, let him cut his teeth in front of 60,000+ people for the next fortnight, see what he do. For Oxley, most likely...

Apart from Reid (7 kicks, 8 handballs, 3 goals) playing at FF, there's not a lot to be excited about in the VFL stats. Dwyer (14K, 12H, 10 tackles) seems to have had the most of the ball. Plenty of solid, rather than outstanding, performances.

Yep, horrible day for football.

I'd be happy to see Marsh and Scharenberg get a run in the ones this week.
