So noted, JW.

Looking at the records, I think Lachie Wallace is the next in line amongst our VFL list boys to reach the 50 game mark, correct? Which, at the earliest, would fall on Round 20 vs Port Melbourne...

^ lachie had played 37 games up until the start of the season. tim allan could have possibly played his 50th game this year - also on 37 games at the start of the year.

interesting to note that the great dane swan has played 42 vfl games.

Yep, Wallace started on 37 games, but has played another 5, so he's on 42. Allan is on 39 (2 games this year).

Somehow I don't think Swan will make it to 50 VFL games...

I'm gonna take a guess at the team after hearing no change in seniors:

This assumes Reid, Freeman and Goldy are not playing but Armstrong, Abbott and Greenwood are along with the three emergencies.

Scharenberg Marsh Sinclair
Young Pendlebury Armstrong
Seedsman Greenwood Goodyear
Manteit Gault Dwyer
Cox Abbott Karnezis

Grundy, Moloney, Kennedy
I from: Wills, Wallace, J.Blair, Gray, Borthwick

the bench is always a lottery but i'd expect at least hellier, goodyear and manteit to be named.

We're playing well at the moment but Footscray are a good pretty good side themselves. Expect a tight contest this Saturday.

Having Greenwood, Grundy, Seedsman and Dwyer in the side should provide us the edge in terms of experience.

Whom we beat earlier this year. They are weaker this time around, we are arguably as strong, if not more so, as last time.

True, their home ground is a b-tch to play on, but their winning record there against top 8 teams is underwhelming (2 from 5 games vs top 8 teams at Whitten Oval since coming back into the competition).

I'm actually growing more confident of getting them this time around...

Good Grief..not again.

Will have to wear my thermals...

Looking forward to the game. I'm with Bat. I think that we have a good chance. My only concern is that this will be our 3rd tough outing in a row & they had a walk in the park last week.

Hopefully Greenwood will be back.

And the home team...

Footscray Bulldogs

B Dale Cordy R. Smith
HB Prismall Russell Jamieson
C Biggs Kelly Darley
HF Greenwood Campbell Austin
F W. Hayes Fort Crameri
R Cordy Jong Pearce
Int Keras Coughlan* Grabowski Fogarty Iaccarino Barry Sharp Buchanan Huxtable

Trust Jong and Kelly to make a return from injury against us. Oh well.

11 AFL-listers for them, if my math is correct...?

Nice to see Jordan Russell playing against his old team again. Hopefully he puts in a vintage 2013 performance...
