+1 lost too many friends to that @%$& desease. Roughy not being there does take a lot out of the game. You want to beat the Hawks with their best player in.RudeBoy wrote:Shocking news. Let's hope they've caught it in time.

Wish him all the best but let's not over do it.
Acting like it's a death sentence isn't helping anyone and in reality if it's a low grade melanoma most likely he wont suffer any further illness.
Treatment available for this disease has improved greatly over the last decade/few years and survival rates have increased with it.
I'm more surprised he isn't right to play but I guess it has to do with the area the mole was removed.

you're hardly going to be alright to play after you have had something cut out of you. i'd imagine he'd be feeling a bit of pain right now.swoop42 wrote:Wish him all the best but let's not over do it.

heard it on the radio this morning. Happy to have him not playing against us but best wishes for a good diagnosis and quick recovery. Melanoma is a cnut. If it's spread you're futterly ucked, it's just a matter of time.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.
