My grandfathers grandfather got sent to Australia from England for pinching some lead off a roof. They probably would have hung him for pinching a calf.

I think this is a pretty accurate assessment.watt price tully wrote:Maloney easily BOG.
Greenwood: got better as the game went on but some of his disposal today makes me see what North supporters have been saying. But hard at it & like others will do better in a good team round him.
Scharenberg: Very, very good. He easily beat his man Sicily. Sicily kicked 5 last week & is destined to be a very good player. Starred in a losing Grand final last year in the VFL. Makes Schazza's efforts even more impressive.
BK: played a great game but seemed to be missing in parts of the 3rd qtr? I wonder how much he was rested.
Moore: Great first qtr but later was matched up with a very good player - the fellow with the long hair who got injured (from WCE & Sydney & a premiership player for Hawthorn). The delivery was poor into the 50 after half time.
Sinclair: Great return game. His pace & experience is missing from our back six especially in light of an injured Ramsay.
Reid: Not ready yet. Some great stuff & diabolical turnovers which will get worse under pressure for mine. Needs 1-2 weeks.
Abbott: Missing today.
Mantiet : OK
Maynard OK
My only comments would be that I thought Maynard was fantastic. Dominated his back flank. Manteit surprised me as well.
One passage of play of Schaenberg reminded me of Pendles in that he weaved effortlessly around players before deciding on the best option.
I thought Moore was great considering it was his first time forward. His attack and follow up on the ground was excellent.

Dwyer is a fantastic depth player for mine and he was pivotal in Port Melbourne's success a few years back.
Very reliable and rarely plays a bad game but he was always going to struggle to secure a spot in the best 22 for the whole season with guys going past him and the limitations he has as a footballer.
