Reid looked fine in the room shots after the game from the Ch 7 shots.

Might have been a deliberate move given we okay Friday night if indeed they have earmarked him for Hawks game.

The HOFF is a beast in the ruck.....

Greenwood's strength is his......strength.

I'd play him against the Dorks.

Maloney easily BOG.

Greenwood: got better as the game went on but some of his disposal today makes me see what North supporters have been saying. But hard at it & like others will do better in a good team round him.

Scharenberg: Very, very good. He easily beat his man Sicily. Sicily kicked 5 last week & is destined to be a very good player. Starred in a losing Grand final last year in the VFL. Makes Schazza's efforts even more impressive.

BK: played a great game but seemed to be missing in parts of the 3rd qtr? I wonder how much he was rested.

Moore: Great first qtr but later was matched up with a very good player - the fellow with the long hair who got injured (from WCE & Sydney & a premiership player for Hawthorn). The delivery was poor into the 50 after half time.

Sinclair: Great return game. His pace & experience is missing from our back six especially in light of an injured Ramsay.

Reid: Not ready yet. Some great stuff & diabolical turnovers which will get worse under pressure for mine. Needs 1-2 weeks.

Abbott: Missing today.

Mantiet : OK

Maynard OK

Went into Vic park to watch the game, very much enjoyed it even though it was a strange game. Real arm wrestle, bit scrappy.

First I've seen of Greenwood. Wasn't impressed, poor skills for mine.

My boy Gault did some nice things, but I'd really like to seem him lift the intensity and work ethic a notch, seemed a bit too laconic

Ditto for Patty K but make it 2-3 notches.

Liked the look of the Berg.

Saw the Big Cox wandering round, he came out and joined the boys on the field as they were walking off the ground, seemed to be popular figure with the team.

Actually, Yeah. Sinkers was good. He stood out early, picked up the pace of the game like he'd never been out.

Watched the berg closely today. Very impressed, despite the kick to chb for the turnover after a fantastic one grab contested mark ghosting in from the right side, but he'll learn from that. Skills are very solid, a lot of short link up kicks but had a few long piercing kicks so it's in his arsenal. One-on-one is very good, laid two devestating holding the ball tackles. Just stoked to see him get games under his belt atm.

Yeah. One more game in the twos like that and he could be the sub against Port you'd think. I also liked the Hoff. Now there's someone who could play the Leigh Brown role. Given that the Hoff is one of our VFL listed players do we get first dibs on him if we wanted to rookie him or put him on the senior list or would he have to go into the draft?

Collingwood VFL listed players Greenhough - 22 years old and Maloney is 24 years old. Would they be considered for mature age rookie spots?
Both were excellent today.
we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest.

Greenwood: Looked ok, worked into it after a quiet start.
Kennedy: Some great pieces of play, but went missing for decent chunks of the game.
Reid: One diabolical turnover, but otherwise good.
Scharenberg: Looked great. Never got beaten one on one, almost flawless ball use (with one obvious and costly mistake), tackled well, made smart decisions. Should come in soon for one of Seedsman, Goldsack or Langdon.
Sinclair: Looked excellent, but I'm not sure there's room for him in the back 6. Marley's ahead of him and he can't play tall like Toovey or Goldsack.
Gault: A couple of decent things, but not good overall.
Karnezis: Given up on him. A good VFL player, nothing more.
Moore: A couple of great marks, worked hard, not a good day for forwards.

Moore was a Excitement Machine. Everytime he went near the Ball you thought something might happen.

Kicked 3 goals and 3 last week.
rarely misses, and sometimes kicks goals from no where like his ruck goal today.
frustrating player. Worth keeping I think.
