It's over!
Their peak is 2007-2011 and some would argue the era began in 2004 with underachieving years in 2005 and 2006 before they became a powerhouse from 2007. Their last chance was in 2013! After that they were never going to win a flag with this current team.

Not yet. They dismantled Port minus two of their best players after half time. In Adelaide!
The Cats will make the eight, though they probably won't damage Sydney's flag hopes. Freo has fallen in a hole so it will remain to be seen if they can get back and win the flag after a long season. I have my doubts. But Geelong will shape the finals. Don't you worry about that.

You can keep your Locketts. There was only ONE Gordon Coventry!

To beat these pricks you need to be dominate at every single line with every single player, every single bounce of the ball to go your way, every single tackle to stick, have no turnovers, stop there corridor transition kicks and so on and so on. There friggin good at our game and there's no denying them that. I hate them so much with so much passion I feel guttered when they win. I don't think they will slide like mentioned every single week on here infact look as strong as ever with there new crop now adjusted to there systems. For ever a thorn in everyone's side.
no second chances

If the likes of Cam Mooney say the era of Geelong's dominance is over then it's over so no point going back and fourth with it unless Geelong rises up the ladder quickly in the next year or two.
Geelong to their credit have done remarkably well to stay up as long as they have.
