You have to drop one off the bench. It's 23 a side, not 24. And if Dwyer were to play with the other emergencies, you'd have to drop someone else (I'm thinking Wallin and Wills).perthmagpie wrote:I'm gonna guess the four to play seniors are: Oxley, Crisp, DeGoey, Witts. That might leave Dwyer as the emergency to sit it out as Broomy didn't get much game time last week. Anyway that would leave a team like this:
Scharenberg Marsh Maynard
Armstrong Reid Young
Manteit Kennedy Goodyear
Karnezis Still Broomhead
Williams Gault Abbott
Cox Moloney Hellier
I: Wallace, Pendlebury, Taylor, Borthwick (impressive kid), Wallin, Wills.
I keep looking at the bulk of our VFL backline and see the medium term AFL future is there: Scharenberg, Maynard, Marsh and Reid.
Other than that, love your side.
And yep, take a look at that back half. So much potential...
I am vengeance. I am the night. I am MagpieBat.
Looks like Kosh and I will be attending. Since there are about 6 to 8 players in the team that I expect to be pressing for selection (or better) when the seniors are next challenging for the AFL flag, I am expecting to see good things.
Given the wonderful article about Tony Armstrong published earlier this week, I have determined that I will only say positive things about him. He's obviously a fine fellow.
Otherwise, we will, of course, be our dour, miserable selves.
