Heartily endorse those sentiments, Kosh.Kosh wrote:You wont regret it Jezza. Watching the scoobs is a joy. Generally speaking I enjoy it much more that the firsts. You'll love it, Jezza.

I thought Borthwick Had played his 3 games as the 23rd player. He'd have to be in the 22 on merit.

Gus Borthwick played at the same junior club as the 17 year old (the age level above).
His mum was in hairdressers this morning when I was there.
Gus rapt to be getting an opportunity to play VFL, although family finds it difficult to cheer the Pies jumper!

What we do know so far is that Vickery, McBean, Elton, Morris and Corey Ellis have come out of their initially named side. After accounting for senior selections and the concussion to Griffiths, that leaves the AFL-listed players count at 13 apiece.
It will be interesting to see if either side holds back a carry over player. Or, for that matter, if the injury rumours surrounding Sam Dwyer are true...

There have been times in the past where we have played all 3 emergencies the day before an AFL game and not had a carry over player. Generally we only seem to hold blokes over if one of the seniors has a niggle/question mark.
Hopefully we don't need to have a carry over player, especially since we have the bye next week. Richmond on the other hand may need to hold one back whether they like it or not, as cover for Deledio...
