New evidence can be tendered in a CAS hearing. Also the standard of proof is determined upon "comfortable satisfaction", rather than the current finding of 'not comfortable satisfied by the AFL Anti-Doping Tribunal.

Seems 'comfortability' will be the lynch-pin!

How recently? Are we still talking about hoping for a suspended sentence so we can see him sooner rather than in the black and white?

Like others , all I hope for is for Hird to get his arse kicked , ..being suspended with pay n going to france to study was a joke,... hes the one responsible n should be banned

BHPIE, couldn't agree more. However I need more convincing that justice will finally be done after so many let downs.
Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine!

lol at essendon finding the appeal as a shock. little said they didn't do much "what if" modelling on this scenario. that is either naive or poor judgement.

It is a desperate gamble to try and stick mud on Essendon.
There is no evidence what so ever that they cheated.
They cannot make Danks and Co. give evidence.
It is about them WADA not looking pathetic and for
them to shore up their authority about anti doping.
WADA is protecting themselves and not the integrity of sport.
we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest.

I think just a very simple question definitely NEEDS to be answered honestly by Essendon thompsoc to let this matter rest.

WHAT exactly was in the injections given to the Essendon players in 2012?

Thommo I don't know how many times I've had to repeat this because peeps can't seem to get it into their heads . . .

One more time I guess . . . .

The WADA appeal to the World sporting court is NOT dependent upon proving absolute proof of guilt . . . REPEAT . . . NOT dependent upon absolute proof of guilt.

The world court operates on the burden of proof being upon the charged party - NOT the accuser. This closely follows the model of the French legal system where you are guilty until you prove yourself innocent.

If the accused cannot prove themselves innocent they are gone.

There is no wriggle room or grey area and I can't for the life of me see where anyone cannot grasp these facts.
