Great report Jackass. Sounds like Benny K is ready to step up.
BK can't be far off, given his history of fitness issues they may give him more VFL time. Kid can find the footy, uses it well, and has some serious wheels when he decides to go.

LOL!! - Resident tea merchant!!! Love it!! :P Glad you liked it.

Love your work JW and great catching up with you mate.

Must pencil in another VFL game this year.
Good to put those homegrown "herbs" to good use.

Is this Sunday a double header?

Just checked...

VFL 11:42 @ punt road
AFL 15:20 @ the G

Perfect double header.

Thanks for the score updates throughout the match MB and your comprehensive player review summary. Also a big thanks to everyone else who was at the game and was able to post their observations about the match. It's great to see the boys notch up another win in successive weeks.

Sounds like De Goey is on the verge of breaking into the senior side this week and I would love to see him selected this weekend against the Tigers. He's gathered momentum for a number of weeks and is ready to go by the looks of it. Kennedy isn't that far away and considering he was recently ill his form has been very promising.

Scharenberg and Freeman will be a work in progress but hopefully they'll get there eventually. They're essentially first year players at the moment due to the lack of football they played last year.

Great that MagpieBat has been honoured by the club by having Anthony Rocca himself read out the match winning/sealing play from Saturday night on the Lulie Street program;

(Right at the end for those who are impatient).

Something about using the words Kennedy and shooting in the same sentence....

Some one better tell Pebs what DIF means............ Pebs if you reading this , Directly In Front.. ;)

Still can't believe they aren't drooling over JDG''s game like us. Maybe trying to keep the lid on the hype.

Seriously though, nice gesture by the club. Pleasantly surprised. I'm not one to seek credit for my work, but thanks Collingwood all the same.

Thought maybe they would have quoted the Kennedy goal just before 3QT. Would've made for some interesting viewing... 8)
