Finally, siren goes and the Pies WIN. Gutsy win after being pantsed in the 3rd quarter.

YES!!!

We hung on by the skin of Bat's foreskin.

Needless to say we couldn't afford to be 0-3.

Well done Pies and thanks to the Bat and Kosh for the updates.

We were two men down for the second half weren't we with Young and Maynard off injured?

Probably explains a little why we dropped off.

How did Witts go against Minson? Worthy of a call up?

Smashed him in the 1st half, but Minson much more influential after half time.

Witta certainly put his hand up, but a winning side has first call on senior positions of course. Didn't do his chances any harm, put it that way.

Thanks for the call. Got in late. How did my man Abbott go today? I read that Marsh played a ripper too.

Abbott was decent enough.

And yes, Marsh had a great game. His final quarter was an absolute ripper. Him and Pendles should take a bow, they were outstanding that last term.

Will be interesting to see if Gault can keep him out.

I am pumped, what a great weekend for the club, smashed the arch enemy whilst they were celebrating a milestone, then held on in a thriller against the VFL reigning premier.

So exciting to see young lads like Grundy, Oxley, Seedy Crispy, Frosty, Adams, et al starring last night then hearing new plyers like Marsh, Abbott, Witts, DeGoey et al tore it up out there today.

What a wonderful weekend.
