It's tempting to stay home and watch on the TV but it was so much fan sitting in the Members' Stand last year and trolling the Essendon supporters that I'll probably get along again.

Adams likely back in the seniors, plus Young returning from injury and maybe Kennedy as well, means two extra AFL-listed players compared to last week (after accounting for Reid going down).

Depending on how many changes they want to make, Witts could go up against Giles in the ruck and Moore could end up taking McKernan.

Gault broke his collarbone and Lynch his leg in the corresponding match last year unless I'm mistaken. No injuries (to our players) this year would be appreciated.

Rumors on BF that Shaz might play this week.

Been scotched in the latest injury update.

Next week against the Doggies will be his return.

Yep, good to have him back playing either way. And early in the year, instead of effectively missing his second year of development.

Should the Q Stick turn up to this game with a baseball bat?

Was gonna go to this game again, but the weather forecast looks absolutely crap so I think I'll drive back to Yarrawonga after the G game and then watch on TV on Sunday. Really looking forward to the Vic Park game the week after with Scharenberg back and hopefully also Kennedy. Then I'm gonna go to the Bendigo game against Cats.

Hey Magpie Bat I appreciate you are like me and are also always counting the additions/subtractions of AFL players to the VFL team. Glory days would be if we ever got 18 or more listed players in a game! We did it once and smashed Geelong last year and then it wall went to sh*t from there. By the time we reached the final as you know we were a team of amateurs really.

Yeah, I remember that game. Looking back, we had 17 AFL listers that day and we won easily (Patty K kicked 6!)

We have 14 AFL listers this week, but with Reid/Steele/Levi/Sinclair all out, it's a very young team. We do get Karnezis back at this level though, as well as Clinton Young, so that's something.

I just hope we can finally stop suffering injuries for a change. Means we maybe get the likes of Dwyer, Crisp, Kennedy, Ramsay all back at this level, as well as Scharenberg.

Good to see Young back, mystery still surrounds Kennedy's disappearance.
