Priceless to see Scott with the look of bewilderment on his face at several stages during the game. Waite???? Hahaha!

Too true Mr WL but who are we playing this week in an away game at Etihad?

They were the Jekyll and Hyde of the competition last season so it'll be interesting to see what they produce this season.

I'm hoping they were really really bad today rather than Adelaide being just way to good.

Carlton lost.
St Vomit lost
Essendrug got smashed out of it in a pitiful deer-in-the-headlights last quarter
Norf got pantsed
One of Freo and Port is going to lose tonight.
Oh, and Collingwood won.

What's not to like?

Norf made the finals because they played all the bottom teams twice last year. They have recruited well with players soon to register with APIA. IMO the most overrated coach in the AFL. He'll probably complain that the roof wasn't closed!!!
They are were they should and one of many teams vying for the 8 (outside better) but top 4, your joooooooooking...

Hey Brad Scott just because you get angry doesn't make you a good coach

North Melbourne are a very overrated side for mine and I held that view during the off-season.

I tipped them to play finals purely on the basis that they have one of the oldest and most experienced lists in the league and hence they should be expected to play finals this year but I've never expected them to be a flag threat. If they fail to produce the goods this year then they're in massive trouble in the future with the lack of young talent coming through considering they have this illusion that they're close to winning a Premiership hence the recruitments of Waite and Higgins in the off-season, which meant Greenwood was squeezed out of their salary cap and he felt his position at the club was under threat as well.

It would be great to see North crash and burn this year. They got smashed today but credit to Adelaide they were terrific with Phil Walsh leading the way in his first game as coach. We have a tough match on our hands next week against the Crows if they repeat what they did today.
