That would explain why the Suns did not try very hard to re-sign hunt

He only has himself to blame! It's possible that the Suns weren't aware of this otherwise I think they would have reported it to police.

I think the Suns delisted him simply because he was not good enough to be retained on their list.

Hunt along with former origin player Jason smith and nrl player Matt seers and 2 gold coast titans players.
Now 2 current origin players Greg bird and David Taylor along with another Titan.
Hunts charges stem from when he was still an employee of the suns.
Reports are there is many others from various codes set to be charged.
Oh and hunt was offered a new contract by the suns but no afl top up this time.
