For tonights dinner we have a choice of Thai Green Chicken curry, or braised steak in a creamy mushroom, onion and peppercorn sauce, served with mashed sweet potato and steamed greens.

Coupla days of tucker, leftovers in the freezer.
I made green chicken curry yesterday & took it to work. Both women in the household are vegetarians - they missed out.
Get a 2 inch thick rib eye on the bone and do some stuff on the side. If the women have a problem they're welcome to share. :P

I made a homemade omelet with spring onion, salami, cheese. It was quite nice actually, I am not much of an egg lover but this omelet didn't really taste like egg. It was very nice.

Got home after the footy & my daughter & her boyfriend made:

* Prawn & chinese cabbage dumplings (steamed)
* Green papaya salad
* Mixed green veges in a oyster like sauce (very light)

followed by

* Lemon & pistachio cake

Yum scrum. :D

Did some cooking today, too frigging cold to go outside.

Made Beef and vege soup and floated some ravioli in it.

Bought some wonton wrappers and made some chicken wonton dumplings cooked in a Thai chicken broth

Used the left over wrappers and deep fried some BBQ Chicken and bacon wontons

Dinner tonight, lunch and dinner for a coupla days.

Last night Saw a recipe on Facebook for golden syrup dumplings in sauce, took about 5 min to whip up, needed comfort food, filled the gap perfectly! I used whole grain flour!

Golden syrup dumplings. Depression food. My grandmother used to make that for desert sometimes when I went to their house for lunch when I was in primary school. Yum. Seriously Yum.

God I had a good metabolism then. 5'6" when I was in grade 6, had a cooked breakfast in the mornings, 2 course cooked lunch at the grandparents place, self service lolly smorgasbord at the milk bar after school and a 2 course cooked dinner in the evening and I weighed 47kg.
