Prelim Final - W'town v Pt Melb
Damn you Tasmania!
23 points in front at three quarter time to end up 11 point losers.
Tassie would have been the better option for Williamstown, but now we have to face Port Melbourne at TEAC Oval.
I just hope the effort of the last quarter took a lot out of the Port players, and after a weeks rest, Williamstown should go in as favourites.
With more than 10,000 trekking to Bellerive Oval, a huge crowd is expected to witness another titanic struggle between these two long-time rivals.
The game has been scheduled for Sunday, with a 2pm start. The reserves would possibly play the same day as the seniors, with an 11.10am start. However, the day and times are yet to be made official.

Brodie, Leon, Jarrod and 'Stunning' are all available because Collingwood are still 'alive' in the 2003 season. Gilbee wasn't eligible after the first week of finals becoz the Bulldogs' season came to an end after round 22.
Of the four VFL teams to play this weekend, only Williamstown have a 'full' list to choose from. The others, being Port Melbourne (Kangaroos), Box Hill (Hawthorn) and Sandringham (Melbourne), can only choose their VFL-eligible AFL listed players.
It will be interesting to hear what others say about this perceived advantage to Williamstown, and with the rule having already been changed once this year, what's to say the VFL wont change it again before the end of the week.
