All this talk about the likely make up of the squad made me think of the guys that this final would never happened without.

Likely side will include these AFL players: Paul Seedsman, Peter Yagmoor, Kyle Martin, Patrick Karnezis, Marty Clarke, Quinten Lynch, Corey Gault, Ben Kennedy.

We will have full access to the emergencies that don't play on Friday night for the first time in a long time.

Unfortunately, no.

The ABC has an agreement with the VFL that the TV finals games are played at North Port Oval (and the Grand Final at Docklands).

It has been confirmed, however, that the crew at VFL Radio will be calling our game, so you will be able to listen in, if that's any help.

Should the Pies make it to the semi-finals, then we will be on TV...

He actually plays from time to time for Morwell Tigers, does Tarks, so he still looks in good enough shape to play.

Might need big Peb Rocca to join him, if Q-Stick gets a call-up. Just plant him in the goal square and bomb it onto his head. What could possibly go wrong...?

I cant help but feel a bit worried considering so many VFL performers will be playing against Hawthorn on Friday night.

I'm really hoping for a win here, but cant help but think that we suffered the last 2 years, AFL wise, as we did not play any VFL finals. Our AFL team had no VFL to judge players on form or fitness, etc.

Now it seems that we're finally in VFL finals, but our AFL team looks likely to miss finals. And half of them will be playing on Friday night.

Just don't want to lose this game because the side is unsettled. I do think this team can get to the prelims.
