It's not difficult to understand, it's difficult to comply with, 'coz it goes against the whole concept of weighing up players' contribution to the game to ban discussion and consideration. Who brought in the dumb "votes only" rule in the first place? It has wrecked what used to be an enjoyable and interesting thread every week. For proof, look at the piss-poor numbers - lots of members don't even bother to post in this thread anymore 'coz it has become boring and practically meaningless. The fact that you "had to" edit nearly 80 percent of the posts here demonstrates conclusively that the problem isn't the posters or the posts, it's the rule that is wrong.

You totally miss the point, mate. It's simply for the compiler that we ask for votes only.

You're also wrong about it being an "enjoyable and interesting thread every week", because of comments/discussion, or being meant to be that. Never was. Check the history.

Submit comments on who played well or not in the Post Match thread.
Donny.

It's a game. Enjoy it. :D

A quick one-liner to clarify a vote, or to acknowledge a player who's just missed out - hardly makes the job of the compiler difficult
C'mon Donny, fair dinkum........

Fair enough stopping people posting essays in the votes thread, but I think most people get that anyway mate.
