The Bangladesh captain, Khaled Mahmud, is certainly leading from the front.

He dismissed Saqlain (11) to take his seventh wicket for the Test. Considering he had 5/550 before this test, it's a top effort. In the first innings, he dismissed 4 top order batsmen for 37 and he has 3/37 so far in this innings.

Inzi has moved to 73 n.o. and Pakistan is 7/184, still needing 76 to win.

This is getting exciting !!

Rafique just dismissed Ahmed (13). Inzi is 89 n.o. and Pakistan is 8/205. Still 56 runs short.

Inzi goes to 96 and is on strike. 8/213.

He's facing Mahmud. Dots the first ball. Dots the second and takes a single. 97. Gul plays out the over.

Inzi faces Rafique. Mmmm takes a single. Must be confident of Gul's batting ability. Gul dots one and takes a single. 2 balls left. Inzi dots both.

The opening bowler, Islam, come into the attack. Gul defends 2 then takes a single. Wow. This is tense. Inzi dots last 3 balls.

Inzi goes to his 18th. Test century and Pakistan are still in it.

They are 8/221 and require 40 runs to win.

8/239 and Pakistan need 22 to win. Inzi has moved on to 116 n.o. and he's being ably supported by Umar Gul, 5 n.o.

They have added 34 vital runs for the 9th. wicket.

Inzi is now 121 with only 17 to win.

Well it's 8/250 and what a tense little lunch break this will be. Pakistan need just 11 to win.

Inzi, on 127, will probably only have 2 hamburgers instead of his normal 3 or 4. Lol.

His partnership with Gul has yielded 45 priceless runs with Gul contributing 5.

On 8/257, Gul (5) was run out, trying to put Inzi on strike.

A nervous Yasir Ali, in his first Test, comes to the crease. Misses outside off. Somehow keeps the next two out and then hits a full toss to leg for a single.

Inzamam hits the next ball to the fine leg fence and Pakistan win !! He is undefeated on 138. A masterful innings which will earn him Man of the Match status. Today, he hit 80 of the 114 runs scored.

A heartbreaker for the Bangers but they're getting closer and learning fast.
