The reserves, which is distinctly more VFL than AFL this week...

B: Ellis* Riddle Seedsman
HB: Cody Yagmoor Scharenberg
C: Couch Martin Mooney
HF: J. Williams Karnezis Clarke
F: Lynch Gault Ferguson
R: Greenhough Kennedy Hellier
Int: Allan Suckling Matheson Corr Blair Gleeson McKeown Strachan Gray

Welcome back to Hellier, Corr, Clarke and, surprisingly, Couch. We will need them.

Gault named to play VFL, despite being promoted (travelling emergency?)

And Kennedy inexplicably in the VFL side, although I definitely won't say no to having him here...

Milestone - Congratulations Peter Yagmoor, 50 VFL games! :)

Nice to have a Collingwood game 2 minutes away instead of 2 hours.

going go be a close game   can the pies make the top 4?

it's going to be a sad note for bendigo as its going to be the clubs last game in vfl, so hope the pies smash them. on 1 hand no byes next year due to odd amount of clubs. pies should take it as a training run.

It will be interesting to see which one of Karnesis, Gault or Kennedy dont play tonight and make the trip to Sydney as the emergency. It would be great to get the chance to watch them all tonight but also it would be good to see the 'new boys' get a chance to show there worth at senior level.

You coming down for the game Greg?

I hope Collingwood don't take this game lightly. All week, the local media have been writing and talking about the one last giant effort from Bendigo to go out with a win. They are REALLY fired up. It will be tough up here.

Then you're going to be disappointed.

Benidgo has run lower-placed teams in Casey and the Scum to within a kick or so, and we're haemorrhaging players.

Don't be surprised if they run us close...
