Directions:
Car - If travelling from Melbourne, take the M1 through to Morwell. Exit onto Morwell-Thorpdale Rd/Strzelecki Hwy/B460 towards Morwell
Continue to follow Morwell-Thorpdale Rd under the rail viaduct, through the next set of traffic lights and the next roundabout, then turn right onto Hazelwood Road (at the Latrobe Art Gallery, next to the Court precinct). Continue down Hazelwood Road through 2 roundabouts, then turn right into Travers Street. The entrance gate will be at the end of Travers Street.

Train - Take the Traralgon/Bairnsdale line to Morwell station. Follow the underpass from the station out into Commercial Road. Walk along Commercial Road until you get to the intersection of Commercial and Hazelwood Roads. Walk down Hazelwood Road until you get to the intersection of Hazelwood Road and Travers Street. Follow Travers Street to the gate.

ALTERNATIVELY, from the underpass, follow Tarwin Street down to Elgin Street. Follow Elgin Street west until you get to Hazelwood Road. Follow Hazelwood Road to the intersection with Travers Street. Follow Travers Street to the gate. It's a 5-10 minute walk either way.

Or you could be lazy and take a taxi from the train station to the Morwell Recreation Reserve...

Over to you...

just look for the goats. swoop42 will be nearby them and can direct you.

best everyone wanting to attend leave about now. and don't even think about arriving back in time for sunday night's clash.

on a more serious note, this should be something a little different. i hope the community gets behind this. it's our home game. good on collingwood for doing this.

Oh hells yeah.

See y'all there.

Think it will be my 5 year old's first game of footy!

My missus thinks he is a Hawks supporter - wonder if she will still be under this misapprehension by Saturday night?

The squad is out:

Collingwood
B: Ramsay Marsh Yagmoor
HB: Armstrong Seedsman Sinclair
C: Clarke Adams Mooney
HF: Dwyer Karnezis Thomas
F: Martin Gault Kennedy
R: Grundy Ball Broomhead
Int: Riddle J. Williams Greenhough Moloney Gray Allan Suckling Ferguson Turner Matheson* Howe Hellier R. Pendlebury

http://www.sportingpulse.com/get_file.cgi?id=3155979

Karnezis ( :D ), Ramsay ( :) ), Sinclair ( 8) ) and Gault all back.

A couple of seniors will also come into the team with Sidebottom, Goldsack back in the seniors, while Grundy's recall will be offset with another player, but someone will likely be held over...

Good to get some size and potency back into that forward structure, especially Karnezis.

Oxley and Freeman next week, plus all 3 AFL emergencies, plus maybe someone making way for Maxy in the seniors... :)

Update on broadcast news.

Game will be streamed via Richmond's VFL Radio stream:

http://streaming.gohosting.com.au/bpmmedia3.m3u

As with Collingwood's VFL streaming, it will also be available through the Richmond smartphone app for both iPhone and Android, though I imagine we'd all be reticent to download it!

Final team something like this:

Collingwood
B: Ramsay Marsh Yagmoor
HB: Armstrong Riddle Sinclair
C: Clarke Suckling Mooney
HF: Allan Karnezis Ferguson
F: Gray Gault Kennedy
R: Grundy Martin Broomhead
Int: Williams Greenhough Moloney Turner Matheson* Howe Hellier Pendlebury

3x emergencies for the seniors in bold don't be surprised if 1 or more if them are missing.
