Yep great player. But probably has been 'finished' for awhile now. I think Simpson is a solid coach.....and probably already knows the Eagles need to start re-building ...and have a few difficult years ahead of them.

A damn good player. Finishing up at the right time. Congrats on a decade long career of being one of the games best defenders.

I would struggle to pick another captain out of there group... maybe pridds I guess. Most the other ones I see out n about here and just haven't grown up or could do the roll. Glass is a big loss for them imo grats to good career

yeah a few too many 'stars in their own lunch time' in that team. They remind me a touch of Carlton's list...lots of high end talent that promises the world and only deliver in one out of every five games.

I think S.Selwood should be captain.

Wellingham in a sense personify(s) the club as a whole....now and again has a good game...but spends most of the time on the verge of being dropped back to the WAFL.

Should of Drafted him at Pick 7 in the 1999 Draft. Like Mickey MaCguane said in the 1999 Draft Coverage

You must be 'shattered' by his decision then?

All the best to Glass was a great player. A lot of respect for him, West Coast will miss him. I guess Sharrod will be reinvented as a full back like Jack Anthony.
