Just need to make sure you're not the slowest runner in the group...Lazza wrote:Yeah right!!jackcass wrote:Yep, scary for a simple country kid. You're funny, P4S.Pies4shaw wrote:Are you going, Magpie Bat? I would have thought this was about as close as the 'Pies get to playing a "local" game for you? That is, only a 9-hour commitment, rather than your usual 12?
Haha, yes, I am going. From where I live, it's about half an hour or so closer to home (by the most direct route), but I'll be taking a detour on the way, so I'll actually have to leave a fair bit earlier than I would otherwise, which means the travel time will effectively be another hour or so longer than it would be going to Vic Park.
Your compassion is noted, though. And commendable.

there's a couple of shelters on the scoreboard side of the ground. there is some seating on the rooms side. but, the ground is very exposed.MagpieBat wrote:Having only ever seen Casey Fields on TV, it doesn't look like there's much. There's one small grandstand/pavilion on the TV side of the ground. From memory, there's also a couple of bus shelter-style areas on the far side of the oval (along with a food kiosk and the scoreboard). Every time I've seen a match there on the TV, it's been rather windy, so rug up...jackcass wrote:Thinking of travelling down from Bendigo for the match. Are there any under cover areas at Casey?

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.
