Okay guys, am stepping off now. Have to attend to something else. If you switch on your TVs, you'll understand.

Back to wrap up later.

19-10-124 - 9-17-71 final score.

Be interesting to see the player review following a 53 point flogging.

I went down there today, not going to review every player because it isn't worth it.

We lost it in the first quarter, 8-9 goals to one, game over.

Only a few could hold their heads up high today;

Hudson; Our best by an absolute mile, covered head to toe in mud before half time, loved his game.
Ramsay; Started really well and played well for most of the game, used the ball well, took some strong marks and laid some nice tackles
Kennedy; Really struggled in the first half, really did. Was better in the second half but he was shaking his head all day when he came off, a shocker for him.
Gault; Best forward on the day, took some strong marks but like the rest of the team couldn't kick straight.
Yagmoor; Liked his effort, used the ball fairly well, better than Armstrong by a country mile.

Happy to take take requests on others, not much to say though, move on to next week when we get a few senior players back hopefully. Port have smashed us and Coburg now, and we play Coburg next week.

Let's put it this way, he won't be in senior contention next week.

Had no effect on the game, I don't care what the stats say, and when he did get it he turned it over several times.

Gault's first game, apart from the missed goals, how'd he go?

In the half I saw before I went to etihad for the real amusement of the weekend, I thought Gault competed well. He looks mobile and a good size. He certainly wasn't disgraced. Ramsay and Hudson were OK, too, but there wasn't much else on show.

I'm grateful to mattys123 for the polite description of Armstrong's game. I asked him because I couldn't think of anything to say that my defamation lawyer would let me publish.

Can't take anything away from the relentless (almost Collingwood 2010 esque) pressure The Borough applied to all parts of the ground.

They cam with a plan and executed it perfectly.

It didn't help that the 4-5 goal breeze died off early in the second quarter just when we had kicked four quick goals.

It was Ports day and one to forget for all of us in the black and white.

We have been hit hard by injuries which take away from the VFL team

this week Karnezis, Seedy, Adams and Dwyer are all meant to be back..plus Brown possible in seniors so thats Keefe probably back as well.

Predict a flogging this week to whoever we play.
We're always up to mischief!
