The latter, Neil.
I haven't seen the stats, yet but, in terms of potential senior players, Blair and Dwyer showed the benefit of a couple of runs. Dwyer should come up. Keeffe was good at both ends of the ground and should press for selection. Clarke showed little. Fasolo used the ball very well but wouldn't get the same time to use it at senior level. Goldie showed better touch and Kennedy and Josh Thomas looked a class above. Lynch worked hard and showed some good signs. I will refrain from commenting on Armstrong.
Bucks and Scotty were watching at the railway end, so they will be in a good position to assess the performances.
Special mention for Peter Yagmoor who was very good today. He used the ball beautifully all day and may just yet make a senior footballer. Kyle Martin also impressed - he kicks so well (including for goal) that he must be a chance to get elevated later in the year as his fitness base returns.

My thoughts
First Bendigo are crap! They play nothing like a good VFL side.
We should only be interested in how the Pie AFL players played.
BOG for me was Lynch - seemed to move better, ruck better and kick better than last year. In the running for this week against Swans.
Clarke - Is he fat or what. showed nothing except a bit of run - played across half back.
Blair was really good - in and under - tackling well - moved the ball really well.
Josh Thomas played well and got a number of disposals in line for next week.
Keefe was moved forward and led really well and he took a number of marks. I believe we may have a leading forward here. Problem is he can't seem to crash a pack.
Dwyer was great - hard to tackle, good transition in line for next week
Godsack was pretty ordinary.
martin is a good kick
kennedy showed good touches at times and was fast over the first 10 metres
At least Armstrong kicked the ball well
Faz was a very good kick and it is worth keeping him back - showed some promise.
Forward set up is still a worry. Can't read much into the game because of the poor opposition but at least we have a number of players who can come back into the firsts.
