Starting time for the 1st practice match against Richmond confirmed as 4:30pm on Friday March 7th, courtesy of the Richmond club website:

Disappointing that our own website couldn't give us the tip, but a minor issue in the grand scheme of things...

I'll be in Vancouver when all this is happening.

I did notice that the season starts on March 29.

So we'll have a good hit out the week before our first game, but then play AIS after the start of the season.

So we have a practice game on the 22nd of March.

7 days later round one vs the Roosters, on the 29th of March.

6 days after that a "practice game" against AIS, on the 4th of April.

8 days after that the round 2 game against the Borough, on the 12th of April.

It's an unconventional beginning to the season, isn't it?

Another reason why I hate split rounds, especially to start the season...

According to a Borough supporter over at VFLFOOTY.com, it seems we have an additional practice match being added to the fixture against Port Melbourne.

The game is reportedly going to be played at Olympic Park, on Sunday February 23rd, 2pm start.

Anyone with a source at the club able to confirm?

Maybe. Could be tricky. Am attempting to get up to Wangaratta for the NAB Challenge game and will probably stay overnight there. Some details still to be worked out...
