Betheras had a particularly good game.. millions of possessions ( well it looked that way anyway)..Molloy was sensational especailly in first half. ..Leon also had a stand out game..he should be promoted soon.(before it's too late)
Despite cold blustery day our boys are showing the depth of talent that now prevails at Collingwood.

great pics and report dale. finally got down to see a willy game and, despite being colder than ever before and the game not being much of a contest, enjoyed watching the guys go around. how does mitchell white not get a game for geelong? impressed with all the magpie boys, most of who i'd never seen live before. shackleton is a goer but a pre-season would do him good. thought mcgough and cam cloke struggled but rupe, mcgough and molloy were very good. like the look of maxwell and nixon did some nice things. is that the same sam cranage from carlton/saints? i assume so - hard runner but turned it over a few times. look forward to getting to a final or two and seeking out a few of you guys on here. went with the plan of tracking you down dale, thinking i'd just look for a guy with a camera. silly move - every other bloke around where i was had a camera!

I'm not much of a talker whilst the game is on, as tessa will agree, as I try to keep mental notes of the game so as to do my report. I would prefer to make written notes, but can't write and take pics at the same time.
Tessa, I do apologise if I appeared to be rude, but watching the game whilst listening to Stereo974, and waiting for a photo opportunity takes up all my concentration.
I'm hoping the first final will be on the Saturday (30th) as I have to work on the Sunday. If you want, PM me and I'll send you my ph number and you can ring me when you get to the ground and I'll let you know where I'm sitting.

Besides tassie I haven't missed a Willy game this year and Dale you are spot on every week. We have some super impressive kids on our list.
I must admit I am the worlds biggest Nick Maxwell fan I literally stand up and applaud everytime he does something because he is so cool under pressure. Good comparison to Clement but I keep calling him Shane Morwood because he's just that cool and calm in most situations.
David King is another who has come on in leaps and bounds and he does have a similar style to his namesake and love or hate the Kangaroos version he knows how to go about his footy
And shaks is certain to be a Collingwood favourite for years to come, he has that old fashion mongrel about him but tops it off with some great skill.

What the local papers say.
Souce: The Williamstown Advertiser.
FIRING UP FOR FLAG ASSAULT
Williamstown coach Brad Gotch and his players are steeling themselves for an assault on the VFL flag.
Failure will be a bitter disappointment. Just ask club general manager Brendan Curry.
"We want to win the flag this year," he said.
"We're all very pleased with the way we're playing. I think we've got some real momentum. We've got to keep sustaining that."
Confidence soared in the playing group after the 'walk in the park' against reigning premier Geelong at Burbank Park last Sunday.
The home side won by an extraordinary 92 points.
Full-forward Marcus Baldwin fired with seven against his former side.
Baldwin received splendid support from Mark Richardson (four goals) and Jarrod Molloy (two).
Tenacious ruck-rover Brad Lloyd dazzled with 18 kicks and 20 handballs.
He dreams of holding the premiership cup aloft with co-captain Troy West at Optus Oval at 5pm on Sunday, September 21.
The Seagulls will be bolstered by star forwards Josh Mahoney, Ben Kinnear and Dane Swan this Sunday against the Bendigo Bombers in Bendigo in the final home-and-away round.
