Hey

Post by Hiss »

Dale Thomas is a true Collingwood hero. Those who dare challenge his loyalty must be motivated by non Collingwood agenda's. When Thomas returns to the Pies, those critics should hand in their memberships. Thomas AKA Daisy has given us all much enjoyment. We should all wish he plays well at Carlton. Even though I hate Carlton, I respect and admire Pies champions who now wear their colours. See Daisy wanted to stay at Collingwood, but we gave too much money to other players and there was not enough left to pay Thomas a small wage that he wanted. So he was really forced out. So lets give Daisy a true warm Pies standing ovation when we play Carlton. We are mature fans and can show we are above puerile criticism .
I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for.

You call one of our most loyal champions a 'dog'. Hang your head in shame. What a disgusting thing to say. You are not much of a person, let alone a Pies fan.

He did help us achieve ultimate success for the only time in the past 23 years. AND he may have been the best player in our team (or at least the biggest difference maker) to boot.

In a compeition where one flag per generation of players is likely to become a successful blueprint, he was possibly the biggest contributor to that once a generation moment for us.

So at the end of the day ... even thought the wounds are still fresh and we are all feeling a little like the ugly guy who got to date the prom queen only to get dumped for the guy who used to be the class bully..... he kind of has a point.

I find it hard not to acknowledge that fact, even though i wish he were stil healthy and in the Black n White!

BULLSHIT HISS, "one of our most loyal champions" does not piss off to the arch enemy, your hated Bloooz, (who seem to cause you so much angst, like small midget ones) and say untrue things about the Magpies, denigrate our Club, and go along with the old mans snide remarks about the Pies. Premiership player or not, no LOYAL Pies man does that, would Millane, Collier, Coventry, Swan, Maxwell, T Shaw, Weidemann, McHale, Daicos, Waters, Banks, Mann have done shit like that ????, Nah, didn't think so, Dollar Daisy can chase a fast buck, but hes finished in my eyes as a " Loyal Pies champion "

As I've said previously DT's loyalty has always been to Malthouse first Collingwood a distant second.

He was as good as gone once Malthouse was appointed Carlton coach and I dare say given his relationship with Mick new well in advance that Mick would be looking to return to coaching last year.
He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD!

Both MM and Daisy won us a long over due flag. I cannot forget that. Both are Collingwood heroes in my view. Both have black and white blood flowing through their veins. Lets be clear why MM left. He had just won us a flag and was told he needed to move aside as senior coach for an untried golden boy. Fair dinkum. I would have left too. Thomas didn't get the pay he wanted because we had spent the money on 'legitimate champions' oh please! I would have walked out as well. How insulting. We specialise in insulting our favourite sons, then they walk out to better offers and we take offense. Oh please. Fair dinkum. Oh for goodness sake. How about we send our Board to Carlton and keep our heroes where they belong. Great to see today's paper with MM and Daisy standing side by side! Side by Side! Hey!

MM had been given 10 years to win a flag (other clubs would never be as generous), at the end of 2009 we thanked him for his effort and gave him a 2 year extension as head coach plus an additional 3 years at the club allowing Bucks time to transition in whilst rewarding MM's contribution.

We then won a flag, great effort by the club, including MM.

In 2011 we seemed destined to go back to back, MM realising that the club would stay true to the agreement started to make noise, i.e. footy show appearance. The team starts to lose its way and in the end are fortunate to make the grand final.

MM does not bleed black & white, he bleeds for MM. As for Thomas, dido.
Hence, they are both at a club that rewards such behaviour.

It's unbelievable hearing a so called fan condone MM's actions whilst turning their back on a board that has hardly put a foot wrong and a former captain that single handily almost beat Brisbane who many consider to be one of the best ever sides.

Shameful attitude
