Poor bugger!! Nicks being Nicks, irrespective of how well he does, he will probably be seen as a spud by the usual all knowing suspects here, like they have done with many other players over the years........
Welcome to the mighty 'pies young man and wear that jumper with pride. Show them early what made you an attractive get for Collingwood. I have faith in you.....

on face value would seem to be a long shot.
Originally was pick 58, so not considered a star as a junior. Is then delisted by 2 clubs by age 24, and has played 29 games in six years.
The recruiting department obviously sees something, but i don't see where any massive improvement can come from after six years in the system. Apparently is preferred to Kyle Martin or one of the other rookies for a place on team.

if martin were an indigenous player he'd be upgraded by now. it's been alluded to that armstrong has been recruited to help fill our quota.Stupied wrote:The only thing I can think of that they see in him is his kicking. Has supposedly elite disposal, if he can break into the 22 he will probably take the kick-ins. Is meant to be pretty quick too.
Time will tell if he is just another waste of a pick that could have been used to upgrade Martin...
Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle.
