Pippen a Bull again!

Post by Presti35 »

noone here should really give a cracker... but Scottie Pippen is a Chicago Bull again... this news is about 2 weeks old now, but this would be like Nick Davis coming back to Collingwood....

Pippen is my Presti of basketball.... meaning i love him lol...

I used to go for the Bulls when he played for them and remember a few good days when i used to be 'sick' and have the day off school to watch the finals matches... and 6 times i saw em win the championship... well 5 actually.... the first one wasnt on TV back then... (1991)

Pippen left the Bulls in 1999 to go to Houston (my Carlton of the NBA)... and then went to Portland in 2000...

Anyway... most of you wont even read this far lol... but im just happy that he's back in chicago after walkin out on them when their owner screwd him around... (that owner is gone now)...

also Malone and Payton are now Lakers which pisses me off...
Alonzo is a Net and heaps of others have moved...

but i think bball is overrated now... Pippen is the last player left from the era that was worth watching... the players now days are spoiled overpayed overweight and over-ego'd lol...

thanks for reading...

Yeah spot on. The Pippen and Jordan times where the best. Now they are just overpaid and overweight players like you say. Shaq gives me the shits. He doesn't have any skill, it's all just throughing his weight around.
FAT BASTARD lol :D

Shaq is a hack... anyone that size could stand there and dunk a ball... no skill at all... just size...

Rodman was the best defensive player...

Hey PrestiFan,

Agree with ya, BBall is the absolute shite now. The best era was from about 85 - 98 with Magic, Bird, Isiah, Rodman, Jordan and Pippen. Now they all money hungry hacks.

But I disagree, when you say it was like Davis coming back to Collingwood. More like McGuane, coming back after that Carlscum "stint".

So Malone and Payton at LA now? And Mourning a Net? They signed Jason Kidd aswell.

And yeah, in your "terms", Rodman is my Presti too. haha :)

Some other trades/news:

Pippen back to the Bulls
Malone and Payton to Lakers
Mourning and Kidd to Nets
Robert Horry to Spurs
Robinson retired
Stockton retired
Horace Grant to Lakers

I can't believe Rodman and Pippen are still playing. They were playing before Robinson.

Haven't followed bball for a while. I doubt I could even name an all-star team of current players. I lost interest somewhere between the third and fifth Chicago title.

Rodman's not playing. He retired after the 6th Chicago Title when he got traded to the Lakers, but left soon thereafter.

Yeah Rodman went from Chicago in 98 to LA in 99 to Dallas for half of 2000, then retired... but is thinking about a come back...

(not forgeting he got drafted to Detroit in 88 and traded to San Antonio in 93?... and then to Chicago for the start of the 96 season)

Yep went to SA for the 93-94/94-95 seasons. Then Bulls from 96-98. But he never played for the Lakers or Dallas.

interesting. I remeber him going there and get waived by both teams, but don't rememebr him actually playing. that's what happens when you don't keep up with it anymore.

Paul Tuddenham still plays for collingwood right?
