This is going to be a worrying game....

Going to be a good hard game, a very must win for both sides for the Top 4 I'm not really that confident of a win, but I think we have a good chance of beating them. Last time we gave them a head start and almost won that game, now maybe this time we can jump them and then take it away from them in the last. I think the most a team will win this game by will be 14 pts. It's good to see Clement and Cloke back, shame that Rupe had to miss out.

I really don't think Brad Scott will play, sure he may, but I just don't think they will risk a player who isn't really ready, just like Collingwood wouldn't, even if the game is a must win, they should save anyone that is under an injury cloud for when they are fit to play.

Pies by 14pts.

Collingwood v. Brisbane at the MCG on a Saturday arvo.

Is this football heaven ? Is for me.

In my early days of following the Pies, games were always on a Saturday arvo. All 6.

To get up on Sat. morning and read The Sun (as it was then) was a real buzz. At about 2.30 I'd tune my radio to the station doing our game, hear how the reserves were going, get all my stats sheets ready and wait for that magic moment. The siren !!

Tomorrow, at about 2 pm, I'll log into Nick's scoreboard chat and, with adrenalin flowing, countdown the last few minutes to that same magic moment.

C'morrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrn Maggies !!!!!
Donny.

It's a game. Enjoy it. :D

I think our start will be the key. Can afford to be off the boil like last week, even for 10 minutes or game will be gone. The midfield will decide this one, especially if we can get the ball to Taz an Anthony quick while they are one out.

Go Pies!![/img]

Don't all shoot me at once ... but I had a funny feeling earlier today that we were going to win and win well tomorrow, in what will be a real benchmark game for us - the game that signals one team's arrival and another's slow decline.

It's just a feeling.

I just hope I'm right...

the_weed you are not the only one i think we will win by a good margin tomorrow if the weather holds up, if it is rainy i believe it will be close and only a couple of goals might be the margin.

A wet Saturday at the G. This is going to feel like going to the GF again.
Why are the umpires in red? Isnt that a bit close to the Brisbanes maroon.
I would have thought yellow would be better, guess they might not clash that much.
