To the moderator re merging of thread
To the moderator
I have only ever started two threads here. (I also see multiple negative threads on similar subjects that really should be moderated).
Therefore I do not think that I am guilty of starting too many threads.
I also try hard to be positive in my posts and constructive.
I am not sure that what I wanted to discuss which is how loyalty to our club is rewarded and retirement of long term champions like Buckley, Didak, Maxwell when the time comes and how this fits with a culture of side by side.
I do not feel that a thread discussing clearing room to a land a big fish gets anywhere near discussing this.
Please note my feelings on this.

I have to admit I would have had no idea that Didak, Jolly and Krakouer had been delisted today if I hadn't seen that thread before it got merged ("Clearing space for a big fish" or whatever sounded like a draft and trade forum rumour thread). Just my two cents.

I hate when threads get merged, makes it very hard to follow comments and threads of conversation, it's one of my pet message board hates.
Just let 2 threads run side by side, people will decide if they want to comment on one or the other and the less popular thread will die. Alternatively if there are two legitimately identical threads then just close one, don't merge them.
