Yep, that's right.
The ABC have decided that it's better to deny smaller clubs the TV exposure that comes with having the biggest club in the land in town, in favour of a 'North Melbourne derby' between Werribee and North Ballarat (race to see who chokes first!) and yet more bloody games for the Scum.
Round 14 Box Hill Hawks vs Northern Blues
Round 15 North Ballarat vs Werribee
Round 16 Sandringham vs Essendon
Round 17 Box Hill Hawks vs Essendon
Round 18 Port Melbourne vs Geelong
Round 19 Williamstown vs Northern Blues
And according to the crew at vflfooty.com, here will be the final tally of TV games at the end of the home and away season:
5 - Port Melbourne, Bluescum
4 - Sandringham, Box Hill
3 - Werribee, Coburg, Williamstown, Geelong, Essendon
2 - Collingwood, Casey, Frankston, North Ballarat
1 - Bendigo
Now, I love the ABC as an institution as much as the next person. But seriously? The Scum may not even make the 8! Why the HELL should they get so many games?!
The only time we may get on TV again this year is finals (which may not happen either...)
The parasite club of Australian football gets more coverage than the biggest club in Australian football. YEESH!
No more TV Games for the Magoos for the rest of the year...
