Nice work MB, both calling and keeping the language in check ;o) So next week, even though yourself and Luke Mason do a great job keeping us interstaters in the game, we'll be able to get a digital radio commentary.

Is that because we're in a particular time-slot that gets called next week? Not sure how it works.

I would really appreciate if someone could let me know what radio channel it will be on?

Really believe that VFL is growing again quickly and it would be great to be a part of it all, displaced from Melbourne.

Go the Pies and hope we can do the same to the other Port this afternoon!

Chink!
I'm not arguing, I'm just explaining why I'm right

Fantastic win by the Pies and great updates MB :D

It looks like the Krak and Young will definitely be in contention to play next week. Both look ready to go to play in the seniors :). Great to see that things are gradually falling into place slowly.

Went down and Watched the game and here are my Thoughts:

* We Won the Game but going by the Scoreboard Port Should of won
* Grundy was very exciting today. Did well in the Ruck. Took some good Marks. Kicked the Goal of the Day by Pushing his Opponent and Went in to kick the Goal. Tap work to the Goal in last in Pocket was awsome
* Paine and Yagmoor where Useless
* Ramsey was very Exciting today. Looks like another Heater or Harry O with his Run and Carry. Has Good Speed and Takes them on, Also a Good Kick
* Mooney was Very Exciting Kicking a Good Running Goal and Ran down a Few Port Players from Behind
* Keeffe was very good at FB and Last Qtr was most important player

Good win today. I went to the game and moved around the ground basically sitting at our goal end each quarter.

The general disposal by hand and foot was shithouse and the delivery into the forward line was worse that that. I watched forwards lead, get ignored, turn and run back toward goal and have the ball kicked on their heads. If Port had of kicked straight at goal they win.

Good to see Gault playing forward. He's grown again, he's the same height as Grundy and is a natural forward. And speaking of Grundy, I like the kid. Def has some mongrel, good hands on a lead and good mobility for a big bloke.

Clinton Young can kick. seriously. a couple of passes were 50 metre stab passes. Compared to most of the others disposal he was like a beacon on a dark night.

Ben Richmond is interesting, not quite sure what to make of him. He's not bad at some things, doesn't play as tall as his 196cm and was dwarfed by Witts, Gault and Grundy.

Speaking of dwarfed, Paine has to figure out what he is doing. He plays like a KPP and has very good hands but isn't tall enough to be a KPP. If he's going to be 3rd tall he needs to work on his fitness and ground level work big time.

But a great day and a good win.

Gault Belong up Forward. He took some very nice Marks on the Lead. Also could play in the Ruck. Could be a 2nd Ruckman in the AFL.

Much more fun reading through MB's posts than googling the score. Cheers again, MB.

Looking forward to Young getting a run in the AFL. Does he have the fitness to run out a game?

Thanks, mate.

With Young, we might just have to roll the dice and see if he can do it. Looks almost ripe to go for mine...
