At stumps, Bangladesh is on 8/289. Fradam summed it up quite well.
Dav Whatmore's influence is showing through as well. A well disciplined batting team can trouble the best of attacks and we saw that today.
They defended the good ones, ran well and punished anything loose, especially from Lee.
MacGill's 5/77 gave the Aussies some respectability. Gillespie took 2/58.

Dizzy and Pigeon removed the last two batsmen in 13 balls to see the Bangladeshis total 295. Dizzy finished with 3/57.
After 6 overs, Australia is 0/14.

Doesn't seem to be a good series for Langer, maybe his body is still on Holidays. I was hoping to see Hayden/Langer with their big stands like in the other test matches.

Hayden reached his 50 but was then bowled in Hossain's first over.
Ponting has 10 fours and just brought up his 50 by dancing down the wicket and driving a six over long on. 55 from 70 balls with 46 in boundaries. 2/122.

Australia go to tea on 3/206 with Darren Lehmann cruising along on 51 from 66 balls and Steve Waugh on 36.
A good session for the Aussies as they added 132. Ponting was out for 59.

Compare that to a bad session for the Aussies as they added 132.
