Port Melbourne: 5th (6 wins, 3 losses, 1 draw, 103.87%)

Collingwood: 3
Port Melbourne: 3

How They Fared Last Week:
Collingwood - BYE

Geelong 21.17.143, def
Port Melbourne 9.4.58

Fun Fact:
- This will be the third time in four years where a meeting between Port Melbourne and Collingwood in the VFL conflicts with a Collingwood game in the AFL. In 2010, the only meeting between these two clubs was played out at North Port Oval at the same time as the round 18 AFL clash with Carlton. In 2012, the Borough and the Magpies clashed at Victoria Park just a few hours before the Collingwood seniors took on Brisbane at the Gabba in round 7. This year's sole encounter between the two sides will be held just a couple of hours before the commencement of the round 14 clash between Collingwood and Port Adelaide over at Football Park in South Australia.

Over to you...

Tough game, Port got their pants pulled down last round by the Cats didn't they. Team selection will be eagerly watched with the prospect of Beams making a long awaited return. Side should also get back Didak & Broomhead who were emergencies a fortnight ago. Johnno & the Sack might even be in the picture.

Hmm.

You'd love to have all of those guys back running around at VFL level, wouldn't you? Alas, I suspect the club will take the conservative approach with Beams and wait until next week. Johnson and Goldsack are still listed as a fortnight away.

Also bear in mind, the seniors are playing in SA the same day, so at least 1 emergency will be travelling and not playing. So, that might be Didak or Broomhead or someone else.

But we will get Hudson back (much to DTM's fury), as well as Ramsay, who has survived a 12 week broken wrist. And any of Dwyer, Oxley, Kennedy, Martin or J. Thomas will have to make way for Ball who didn't play against the Dogs. Maybe even Krakouer if he doesn't earn a recall. And Young will get another couple of runs at this level, you would think.

Port, I suspect, might be on the decline. Geelong thrashed them, which might normally give the Borough cause to come out breathing fire, but North Ballarat also got over them the week before at North Port Oval. And the Roosters are only a shadow of their old selves. So the Borough might not be the force they once were.

Should be a cracking game.

I be down there Saturday. After No Footy Last week I need some Footy.

We can Beat Port. Port have been a bit like us this season Up and Down. They Started Terrible after losses to Werribe by 90 pts and Frankston.

If we play our best we are very capable of Knocking off Port.

We beat Port Last Season at Vic Park

I be very Intresting to see how Ramsey goes as he only played about 10 Minutes in the 1st VFL Game.

I don't think Playing Hudson,Witts and Grundy in the Same side is the Best Structure for the Team

1 in the ruck, 1 up forward, 1 on the bench. How hard is that?

Although, if I had my way, Witts would be on the plane to Adelaide this week to play as #1 ruck instead of Jolly...

Well, now it's confirmed - Hartley is out for the rest of the year.

So, I expect any chance of Gault being moved out of defence have now been crushed...

Teams in the AFL Do not do that and the Team would be Too Top Heavy

Teams in the AFL generally don't play two lumbering ruckmen, yet we do it at VFL level. Besides, the expanded interchange bench at VFL level allows you to play an extra tall.

You want Witts and Grundy to have no on-field teaching at all?

Yes and No. Yes because Hudso can help out but No because it takes gametime away from Witts and Grundy. We played Witts and Grundy vs Coburg and we won

Well I be heading down Saturday to watch the VFL Boys play Port.

We are a very good chance to win this game. Should have a Good Side in.

We beat Port last year at Vic Park to beat there massive Winning Streak.

Who else is Going?

I be taking a Portable Radio to listen to AFL game when I am going home by Train.

You'd think one of Oxley, Krakouer, or Clarke would make the trip to Adelaide.
