We really will win comfortably, and by a big margin.

I don't think our guys are gonna be complacent for the rest of the year - we have had that period already.

We should come close to the margin we beat them by last year. Is that over-confidence?? I don't know, but I look at the Carlton side and it is seriously depleted/undermanned/weak.

Lets enjoy picking at the carcass!! Pies by 126 points.

we have a right to be confident about a big win over carlton - we're playing good footy and seem to have the right mix of players atm as well.

The only thing I'll be worried about on Sunday is how much percentage we can gain!

True, I cant see them getting anywhere near us. They have one of their worst lineups in years, I think it's even worse than the crap they put on the fields last year when we destroyed them in Bucks' 200th.

Ohh ahh should dominate this week and with a bit of luck Didz could kick a few. He works so hard and he deserves a good run. He will kick 5 if he gets a full game.

Pies by a lot!!

Were gonna absolutely rub it in their filthy noses. Our forwards are gonna run riot, especially now that mick martyn is back in. and bux, woey, likka, ssb and the likes will dominate the midfield.

Pies by 120 points.

Lets hope Port and Freo get up and we would go 4th with close to the highest percentage in the league

I hope the Collingwood team isn't reading this topic. They better not go into the game expecting to win by 100 points - the only way they'll do that is if they respect the opposition and play the way they've been playing over the last month. Complacency is our biggest hurdle this weekend. Please guys (Collingwood team), don't leave it up to only a few to lead the way and expect the game to pan out as everyone says it should - all put in as if it were a final. Remember round 2? They nearly snatched the game from us!

Well if players are complacent next week they can expect to be playing for Williamstown. Im sure McKee, Betheras, Swan, Didak, McGough, Williams etc have no reason to be complacent. If anything they should have a desire to play well as finals are around the corner. Having tasted that last year surely they want more.

It's nice to see others tipping a thumping. I have no doubt that we'll win this week and I'm not being complacent. The boys have a task at hand and there's no way they are going to let games slip by thinking they are a gimme. I'm hoping 100 points plus on the basis that we continue playing the footy we have been since the break.

GO THE MIGHTY PIES.

It's a "gimme" we will win! Just like against the toothless Tiges, our judgements will be made on the MANNER in which we win. Some say wouldn't it be nice to beat them by only 1pt. Hello! yes, nice, but only if they were top of the ladder! But they are crap and getting "crappier" every game. If we just squeak a win, I for one will be terribly disappointed - a little philosophical, because we won, but somehow disappointed we didn't tear them a new 'hole. I would like a devestating withering 4 Qs of intense percentage boosting footy. I would like them humiliated (remember the 70's!) I would like the record of the highest winning score against the scum back with the Pies - where it belongs.

I love seeing the Filth down the bottom but there is still a part of me that wants them to be up the top so we can thump them in a granny...if that happened I would die a very happy man indeed.....Pies by alot...

Cheers

I was just thinking the same thing as you Magpie Since 1986 that it could be an omen if we beat Carlton twice in the one season and win the flag. It's pay back time now!! Kill Em Pies!!
