Cleared the confusion for me I thought you were Luke but then again didn't realize that nicks had a separate forum page for the VFL {new glasses badly needed}

Not a surprising result given the amount of players missing.

Nah, I'm not Luke Mason.

Forgive me, since I'm one of the younger members of this place, but didn't Luke post around here for years under another name?

Concur with that.

Casey are actually a pretty damn good side. Surprising, really, when Melbourne are so sh-thouse.

Siren.

FULL TIME.

Casey 21.15.141

GOALS - Broomhead 2, Mooney, Paine, Clarke, Richmond, Hudson

Thank F-CK that is over...
Well done, MB. Must become a bit of a chore when we get hammered like that.

Yeah, it takes me right back to the 'glory days' of 2011 and 2012.

But we've had a pretty good run so far, so I'm grateful for that.

Just need to bounce back, get some injured players back into the side and keep going.

Next week vs Coburg should be interesting...

Thanks MB, do we know which of the Dees I/C players had a run today. Noticed Gawn called a couple of times.

No need to apologise, I was just trying to understand the drill, whether you usually go to the game and provide the commentary or whether you usually use Luke's chat feed and transpose.

No criticism if it's the latter but it does make it difficult to judge who played well.

BTW, Luke used to post here as Johnson 26, then once he got the job with the Pies he got a new handle which I forget but he still posts sometimes. Nice kid.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Yeah, sorry for the confusion.

I do get to as many games as I can and provide commentary from the ground. Those I can't, I make do with the LiveChat, and defer to the insights of others.

When the games are on TV, I usually sit them out, because at least I can see the vision of what's going on, though I do go to games when the TV broadcast is on as well.

On this occasion, I'll defer to other posters to dissect the game, but judging by the stats, I liked the game of those 4 players.

Interesting about Luke. Literally a fan living the dream, eh?

No worries, mate.

I believe it was Tapscott and Bail from the extended Melbourne bench who did not play today. And yes, Gawn was there playing as well.

What number was Hogan today for Casey?
Oh & who was their #59 ruckman? Good size & a big unit.

We have way too many undersized players in the VFL.
If the players lack height they must at least have good pace. Ours have neither. Grundy looks okay & Broomhead too. Other than that there was not a lot to get excited about today
