To put this into some sort of perspective, I live in Sydney and can only get to Melbourne once or twice a season.
What I'd love is a VFL membership where my membership fees contribute to the costs of filming all the VFL games. That way I could view all the VFL games and the coaching staff would have more footage to assist the development of our rookies and fringe players. Existing members could pay a surcharge for the same privilege.
Are there any other supporters who would pay for this right?
VFL membership.

I'm sure we would all (or at least, most of us would) tip in that little bit extra to get a weekly VFL stream or a replay put up after the fact.
The problem is, though, that with a profit of $7.8 million last year, the club could have easily spent the cash on an internet radio or video streaming service for our VFL games at any time.
The fact that they have not done so speaks volumes for mine...

What I like about the idea is the knowledge your money is going into something that is going to help the development of Collingwood players.

I'm guessing it would be pretty average footage. 1 camera focusing on specific requirements of the club coaching panel and no commentary.MOTR wrote:Why not offer the footage to members?
Not exactly HD foxtel quality.
Personally I'm happy to get along to a few games at Vic Park each year and watch them for myself. I don't watch the ABC games when they're on TV.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.
