I have only watched the at quarter so far but I was impressed with Tim Allan unlike most our young blokes he has some Size and some distance in his kicking.
Any real info on this bloke but 192cm who can mark kick and appears to have bit mongrel in him could he be a mature age rookie next year or better?
Bucks you just reckon he can still cut it in the middle

Ex-Port Melbourne player.

Coming off a knee reco, kicked 17 goals in 6 VFL reserves matches. Came from Ormond (VAFA) late 2010. Before that, Sandringham Under-18s in 2008.

He's a very handy player, and given the number of AFL-listed talls we have in the side, the fact that he has held onto his spot at 192cm is a minor feat in itself and shows just how versatile he can be to fit in such a tall front-end.

He's called "The Toolman", obviously because of his name, but I prefer the moniker that the Bendigo radio team gave him when we played the Gold up at QEO - "The voice of Buzz Lightyear!"

As you can see, I've incorporated that a little bit into my call of the games...

Agree. And obviously the fact he's got some height is a bonus. Complements the work of the midget brigade of Hellier, Williams, Mangoni, Ferguson, Wallace, Collopy and to a lesser extent Moloney, Sundberg and Corr.

He Riddle, and Heagney-Steart have provided the tall options. And Hine hasn't even been able to get a run.

There's something Aaron Hamill about him. Could be an ideal third tall for the seniors with Macaffer moving to a tagger and Goldsack being able to move back or a wing.

Tim is one of 3 VFL listed players who have stood out this year.

Can definitely see him getting rookied by an AFL club as a 3rd tall forward and he's also gone on to the wing and drifted to half back taking courageous marks this year.

The other two are Maloney in the midfield and Hagney-Steart (not sure on the spelling), but he's been terrific down back.

Do we get first call or do we wait for rookie draft pick 18
we have as discussed a list of midgets and giants with very few 190 to 195 cm
So a Mature age last pick fr a 192cm player who can mark and kick goals is worth the gamble we do not need another 175cm ball magnet
I think we have 8 already

Nope. VFL-listed players are subject to the same draft gauntlet as the rest of the young blokes nominating for the draft. They're open to be picked up by anybody...

So by picking him out I may not have finished his career?
he might have a future?
